Basehart Richard

Richard Basehart est un acteur américain né le 31 août 1914 à Zanesville, Ohio (États-Unis), mort le 17 septembre 1984 à Los Angeles (Californie). 

Il est connu notamment pour son rôle d'Ismael dans le film Moby Dick, réalisé par John Huston en 1956. Il est également apparu dans bon nombre de séries télévisées telles que La Quatrième Dimension, Columbo ou encore dans l'épisode pilote de K2000 dans lequel il incarne Wilton Knight, fondateur de la société Knight. Il meurt des suites de plusieurs accidents vasculaires cérébraux à l'âge de 70 ans.
